These works were made continuously throughout Henry’s career and are not meant to be viewed as a cohesive series. Some of these paintings were studies for later series such as Wet Grounds and Rose Cycle. Several of the pieces are reproduced in resin images in Body of Work. Many, however, utilize techniques that Henry never explored in his serial works.
